Homi Adajania’s film ‘Finding Fanny’ has been in the news for all the obvious reasons. The stellar star cast of the movie starring Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia have been an instant hit amongst audiences. Within a day of its launch, the trailer of Finding Fanny, an English language film by Indian director Homi Adajania, has found over a million views on YouTube. The movie’s makers are “very happy” with the response.
The trailer is said to have got one million views within 22 hours of being uploaded on the online video-sharing website.
The very first song of Homi Adajania’s upcoming film Finding fanny has released by deepika and arjun. What’s very interesting about the song Fanny Re is that Homi has convinced his stellar cast, which includes Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Pankaj Kapur, Naseeruddin Shah and Dimple Kapadia to shoot a quirky music video – that is on the lines of the texture of the film. ‘Fanny Re’ reveals not just a perfect amalgamation of ‘lunacy & exceptional visuals’, but also the varied emotions of the entire cast on their mission to find out fanny. Homi roped in choreographer Shiamak Davar for this video that has the cast doing a freewheeling dance number.
With their first song, team ‘Finding Fanny’ truly nailed it. The video was exclusively shot on 8th July 2014 for the film with a few scenes from the trailer interspersed within.
Giving a sneak-peak into the craziest videos of this year, the visual track opens with a statutory warning, “None of these characters behave like this in the film. Sizzling Deepika Padukone is seen donning cropped top and skirt as she tries to lip sync which at one point tends to get off-note making her struggle. “Shooting the song Fanny Re was a great laugh! Shiamak saw a few scenes and I told him to stay true to the tone of the film. He laughed saying that he wouldn’t have to do anything. It was a reunion of sorts for the cast, with Deepika, Naseer, Arjun, Pankaj and Dimple back together having a blast and freewheeling.I still can’t get

Producer Dinesh Vijan said: “Finding Fanny Movie is a film that needed the support of the online community and we are so overwhelmed with the response to our trailer. People, especially the youth, are loving the five odd ball characters and embracing the madness that they bring.”
The feedback on the film has been so positive and motivating that the makers have decided to premiere the film on the 25th of August – 17 days before the release! This is for the first time in the history of Bollywood that a premiere is happening so early and it goes on to show the confidence the makers – Maddock Films and Fox Star Studios – have on the film.
