Watch: Sonam Kapoor, Fawad Khan and their ‘Maa Ka Phone’

Groovy and whimsical is what we can address the latest song from the film Khoobsurat- Maa Ka Phone as. The song is somewhat similar to Bhaag DK Bose from the film Delhi Belly. The audio of the song is out already and it really sounds bit refreshing and peppy.

The music is a blend of contemporary, classical and rock beats. Sneha Khanwalkar has composed it and also composed odd and unique songs like Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Gangs of Wasseypur, and Gangs of Wasseypur 2.

It is sung by Priya Panchal and Mouli Dave and has been penned by Amitabh Verma and Sneha Khanwalkar.

Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan got grooving for their latest track ‘Maa Ka Phone. Sonam revealed that she is singing the song only in the video to ‘Maa Ka Phone’.”I have this special ringtone for every time my mother Manju (Kirron Kher) calls me and it goes ‘Ma Ka Phone Ma Ka Phone’ on loop. We liked the ringtone so much that we thought of weaving a fun track around it!” said Sonam. She also adds, “Fawad Khan, her co-star and I are both very close to our mothers in the film. But while I have a friendly bond with mine, his has a more business-like relationship with his mother (Ratna Pathak Shah).” She continues, “My mom calls me every two minutes to know what am I doing, how am I and all. She is a little clingy and even ruins my romantic moment with Fawad!”

Sonam Kapoor the biggest fashionista of Bollywood is now to be seen in her upcoming film Khoobsurat . Fawad Khan a well known celebrity from Pakistan who has now entered the Indian film industry in the role of Prince Vikram Singh Rathore will be sharing the screen space with the Kapoor girl. Fawad Khan is now the hub of attraction in Bollywood with hiss looks that can kill, especially due to his astonishing and eerie resemblance to the most desirable and dashing Indian cricketer Virat Kohli who dwells in the hearts of many.

Fawad Afzal Khan, one of the most famous faces of Pakistan has drawn criticism for his decision to enter Bollywood, but he is not bothered with the criticisms and says art is something that travels across borders. He will be making his acting debut in Bollywood with film Khoobsurat — an official remake of 1980 hit of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s of the same name, opposite the gorgeous actress Sonam Kapoor. But even before the release, Pakistani actor Fawad has earned a huge name, fame and fan following, thanks to the show Zindagi Gulzar Hai on small screen, which was aired on Zindagi channel, a channel that’s a bridge between the two countries. When asked about his opinion on the criticism, he replied: “The people you are talking about are very few. There will be people who will criticize. They are entitled to their opinion. Even if someone from India goes to work there, someone or the other will make noise.” “Art is something that travels across all borders. Art knows no culture and creed. As an actor, I would like to explore myself. I do feel bad, but I choose to ignore criticism. I think to pay attention to it is unnecessary,” he added. Spoke like a wise! Fawad who will be playing the character originally played by another legend Rakesh Roshan thinks that his character in this film is very unique and different from the original character. “I saw the original film as part of my homework. It is a timeless classic but our film is different. Rakesh Roshan played the role of a doctor and I play a Rajput prince, so it’s different in a way,” he said. While Sonam Kapoor, who has stepped into Bollywood’s queen of seduction Rekha’s shoes for the Khoobsurat remake. She says she is not even a small patch on the senior actor who is still known for effortlessly and elegantly playing the carefree, bubbly and chirpy girl in the original film. “I don’t think I can do justice to anything Rekha has done,” said Sonam Kapoor.
