Ileana plays an author in ‘Happy Ending’

The very beautiful Ileana D’Cruz and the Nawab Saif Ali Khan will be seen for the first time ever together their upcoming film Happy Ending. They are supposed to play the character of rivals of a kind. The two actors will be playing and seen into the characters of authors in the film Happy Ending.

While the actor Saif plays an author who dwells in US and Ileana D’Cruz plays the part of a writer who is visiting US from India. Krishna DK who sis the director of this film revealed that though this may look like a competitions engaging the actors as competitors, their rivalry is totally unconventional. The film Happy Ending is directed by director Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru.

The film Happy Ending is an upcoming Bollywood Hindi comedy romance drama film directed by director Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. and produced under the banner of Illuminati Films. The film features the Nawab Saif Ali Khan, the bold and beautiful Ileana D’Cruz, the comedy King Govinda, Ranvir Shorey and Kalki Koechlin in pivotal roles. Actors Preity Zinta and Kareena Kapoor Khan will also be seen in cameos. The film is planned to release on November 28, 2014. Some parts of this film were also shot in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Saif Ali Khan was born as Sajid Ali Khan on 16 August 1970. Khan is the son of the well known cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan, and the actress Sharmila Tagore. He also has a sister who herself is an actress, Soha Ali Khan who is commited to Kunal Khemu also an actor from Bollywood. He made his acting debut with Yash Chopra’s Parampara in 1992, but had his first success with the films Main Khiladi Tu Anari and Yeh Dillagi in 1994. He will now be seen in Dinesh Vijan’s directorial debut film. It has been known that the decision comes after it was found that the second half of the film bears an uncanny and striking resemblance to the recent release Lekar Hum Deewana Dil starring Armaan Jain, cousin of Ranbir Kapoor and also casting Deeksha Seth in the lead roles and was the directorial debut of X Arif Ali, younger brother of Imitaz Ali which was produced by Dinesh and Saif. The film however didn’t work at the box office. The film Lekar Hum Deewana Dil is a Bollywood romantic drama film that features Armaan Jain and Deeksha Seth in lead roles. It was produced by Saif Ali Khan, Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla under the banner of Eros International. “Once Dinesh had completed his script, there was a discussion within the team and everybody pointed out that postinterval, the story was exactly like Arif’s film. Dinesh insisted that he’d give it a `different treatment,’ but nobody was impressed.” Now, Dinesh will have to re-work the script while Saif moves on to his next film with his Cocktail director, Homi Adajania. “They will be leaving for Australia this winter,” added a source. Talking from Vancouver, Saif said, “Yes, Dinesh’s film is not happening at the moment.” Was it because of the resemblance to their last release? “That could be one of the reasons. Dinesh just changed his mind,” said the actor. Will Parineeti, a self-confessed Saif fan, now be a part of Homi’s film? “She is a good actress and I hope to work with her. But it is Homi’s decision,” he said.

Preity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan working together after a long break for “Happy Ending”

Preity Zinta , who has recently been in the news because of all the controversy surrounding her allegations against ex-beau Ness Wadia for molesting her, recently shot for ‘Happy Ending’ with Saif Ali Khan. She will be seen working with the actor after a long time. Her last project with the actor was in 2005 for Salaam Namastey.

Preity Zinta’s chemistry with Saif is much loved by the audience. We saw them together in movies like Kya Kehna, Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Na Ho and Salaam Namastey. Although Preity’s roles are that of a small cameo performance in ‘Happy Ending’, she seemed to enjoy filming for it. She also posted pictures after the shoot on a social networking website. The bubbly actress said, “Best thing about being on a film set is that you can lose yourself in another world. Sad that my short and sweet stint with Happy Ending is over” She also added, “On the sets of Happy Ending. Cannot believe that the first time we shot together was 16 years ago! Unbelievable”.

Preity’s first pair up with Saif was for the movie ‘Kya Kehna’, which was released in the year 2000. This was around 16 years ago and we can see that both the actors have made a lot of progress in the industry since then. In this film, Preity played the role of a pregnant girl who suffers from the mental pressure put on her by society because of her marital status. She was brave from the beginning to choose such daring and controversial roles. In another movie, Preity was also seen playing the character of a prostitute who agrees to be a surrogate mother because of money. Her taste for experimental roles has made her one of the best actresses in Bollywood.

In Salaam Namastey, her chemistry with Saif was much appreciated by the industry and audiences alike. The actress is well known for her bubbly and outspoken personality. She is loved by her fans for her irresistible dimples and honest attitude. Her sense of style is classy and desirable.

The actress has taken active interest in the game of cricket as she owns the Kings XI Punjab team in the IPL. She has recently been in the news for all the wrong reasons as she filed a case against her ex-flame Ness Wadia. The actress alleged that Ness molested her and also abused her. Though the final verdict on this case is not clear, recent reports say that the duo was seen sitting together on a flight from Kolkata to Mumbai. A witness also said that they were seen chatting away for more than an hour and everything seemed fine between them. It was the nest day however, that saw a turn of events reporting a tiff between them.
Though Preity has not made any appearances in movies lately, she agreed to be a part of the upcoming release ‘Happy Ending’ and was rather happy to be a part of it.
